UC San Diego is not your normal university. Its 40,000 thinkers and tinkerers take a very different look at the world — one that breaks from convention to make the planet a better place. Trouble is, few people know this. So Our Break Things Better campaign needed to literally break through the sea of blah that’s typical of the category, helping UC San Diego stand out among the Berkleys and UCLAs of the world. A not-so-subtle nod to Neil French,  with a distinctly modern photographic twist.
